Baby books offer the most interactive activity you can share with your baby or grand baby. I started a baby library for my first grandchild. Initially, I began by researching as many books as I could before purchasing any. Furthermore, I read all the books my grandchildren receive in leu of greeting cards on their birthdays, Christmas and the likes. I truly enjoy reading all of the collection I recommend below with my three grandchildren.
The Main Books for Babies’ Library
In this post, I am sharing with you the books I used to establish a library for my grandchildren. Researching book, I came to understand that some are suitable for certain age-group and some may grow with your child for a few years. The most important thing I learned from reading with my grandchildren is many of these books come alive when you spend quality time reading them to your baby.
“So please, oh PLEASE, we beg, we pray, Go throw your TV set away, And in its place you can install, A lovely bookshelf on the wall.”– Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Here are the list of books for babies we are reading now with my grandchildren:
Honestly, you will be amazed at how great the Babies University series is! Enjoy
Newtonian Physics for babies is the first book my granddaughter received as a gift from her aunt who is also an engineer.
Nonetheless, we have a fantastic time reading about the three laws of physics. I am grateful to Chris Ferrie for his innovative and creative ways of introducing the physical concept to babies in such a colorful, straightforward and simple way. These books are excellent for babies.
After we read her first physics book, I ordered her the series starting with Optical Physics for Babies and just recently, I ordered the ABC of Biology. Needless to say, I am looking forward to introducing her to biology.

How to Get closer to the child in your life?
When you spend time reading a book for your baby, she will sit in your lab and be very close to you. This closeness gives her the sense of security and trust.
So whatever you read to will resonate with her for a long time to come. Enjoy!
“There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.”– Walt Disney
