The number one recommendation is to start your day with a deep breath and a smile. No matter where you live, whether in the desert or close to the beach. Check around you for areas where you might have access to, such as a mountain, hiking trails, walk ways, lakes or beaches.
I encourage you to take advantage of the outdoors as much as you can throughout the year. Try to plan a short trip to the beach or spend time taking in the morning fresh air. It is the most rejuvenating thing you will love to do. When the morning sun rays hit your face and warm your skin energizing your entire day.
2. Eat Tasty Food – A Simple Step to Achieve a Fine Mindset!
Summertime, vacations, birthdays, and holidays are the best time to enjoy delicious meals, backyard BBQs, gatherings and getting together. Try to stick to eating foods that taste good and makes you feel good afterward without the need to detox later.
There are so many opportunities to enjoy healthy, tasty food and nutritious drinks. The key to this is moderation and choosing the right type of food to eat. Yes, sometimes you might have an exception or two for vacations or celebrations. All it takes is to opt for a salad for lunch with grilled chicken instead of a burger.
My weakness is bread, so I try to cut back on eating multiple servings of bread and butter with my salad. Dessert is another weakness of mine, so I opt for gelato instead of ice cream.
Every once in a while, I enjoy a burger without a bun at a barbecue. It is not my intention to be restrictive, I just plan-ahead, in keeping with my intention of returning to the best version of me.
3. Spend Time With People You Love – The Best Step to guarantee a fine mindset always!
My loved ones give me a lot of joy and gladness. If you are an extrovert, like me, it will be easy. Enjoying a tasty meal or a walk with the people you love, you will have a happier attitude and your mindset will change for the finest.
After you are done with the morning routine, being with the ones you love will gives you time to nurture your soul quietly. It is easy to neglect the ones we love when we are busy with our daily lives, but I will reconnect this summer with the ones I need to reconnect at least with a text message. I put a reminder on my smartphone to nudge my memory of who I haven’t checked in with lately.
Other than that, stay connected with my children and grandchildren does not require a reminder. I enjoy spending time with them, they gave my life a boast, and I believe my outlook on life becomes more positive after spending time with them.

Many of you, I included, would love to read those books you have meant to read for a while. I have been saving many items that I want to read. So, try to enjoy reading while basking in the fresh morning air and sunshine with coffee and a book.

The best advice I received was to have a plan. However, try not to over schedule. The long days of summer and the great weather gives you the freedom and flexibility to do what you want when you want.
Quite often, try to go to bed at a fixed time and wake up early to soak in the morning sun. With the long summer days, aim for a mid-day power nap whether you are tired or not. Even if you don’t fall asleep, just find a relaxing area and stretch to rejuvenate.
A mid-day break helps keep you alert and focused throughout the day. Tons of research back this up – a quick google search, and you’ll be scheduling your naps, too!
